Golf Rewards Program coming this fall
The Recreation Centers of Sun City West is introducing its Golf Rewards Program in the fall of 2012. Resident golfers without any kind of golf card will be automatically enrolled in the Rewards Program, and will receive points for all golf purchases made in our Pro Shops, with a few exceptions. Check out the attached flier for details. The flier is also available at all our Pro Shops.

Hi Mr. Kosanda….The Swan Card was a good program for those of us who did not play a lot of Golf.. My wife, and the three ladies that played golf together wanted to get the Swan card as they do not spend a lot of money in the snack bars or golf shops. They, however were gone for the summer and didn’t have knowledge of the discontinuance of the Swan card. However, twilight time will still be available.

Hi Mr. Kosanda. The difference between the two programs depends on the person’s playing habits, but in general, a Swan player will get a discount of about 10 percent, and a Rewards enrollee will get about 7 percent. The Rewards enrollee will get points on purchases besides golf (such as merchandise and food and beverage), which they don’t get with Swan. There is also no up front cost with Rewards. As for the LPGA, we had a net profit of about $4,000, not including our labor costs (much of which would have existed even without the tournament), or revenue lost due to the course closure (some of which was recouped at other courses).
Could you explain the diference between the Swan club card & the Golf Rewards program and which is the beter deal for for members. I would also like to know the net profit or loss on the LPGA tournament.
Golf Rewards Program…good way to increase our play. I was at ScGrand today and 24 people were taking advantage of the coupon Program in the Arizona Republic…They were from CorteBella..They paid $20.00 for 18 holes , golf Car range balls and hot dog & beverage. This is the time of year for these specials. I think we need to be competitive.
