Why can’t we use the golf course cart paths for walking? Recently I was asked to leave the cart path while I was out taking a morning walk. I was just enjoying the wildlife and feel there was no harm in using the course as a park when no golfers are present.
According to Association Policy G3, “use of the course, by policy, is limited to use of authorized golfers. Other uses such as walking, jogging, cycling, and other activities are prohibited.”
Why do I have to pay the annual Recreation Center dues when I do not – or cannot – use the facilities?
When you purchased your home in Sun City West you signed a facilities agreement stating that you would pay annual membership dues regardless of your use of the facilities. The upkeep of these facilities help to ensure the value of your home and it is our purpose to provide the amenities to all Association members whether they take advantage of the opportunity or not.
Do I have to sign in my guests when they come to use the Rec Center facilities?
The adult guests not accompanied by a host member or tenant member must present a guest voucher bearing the host’s identity, with the host’s valid association card.
Please Note: Children (anyone under 16 years of age) must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.

Hi Jean. Yes, tenant activity cards may be purchased on a monthly basis (starting at $60 a month). There are specific requirements for a tenant to get a card, however. The landlord must turn in his/her owner member cards and the tenant must have a lease on file with the Rec Centers. If everything is in order, then yes, they can get the card and yes, it entitles the tenant to member golf rates. Please stop by our Member Services Office between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. weekdays or call Sandy at 623-544-6001 for information.
What is a tenant activity card and can it be purchased on a monthly basis? Does this card entitle one to Sun City West golf (member) fees?
