SUMMARY – Perform the responsibilities of leadership in support of the Accounting Manager. Including the ability to perform and deliver quality customer service, provide guidance and support to team members and provides backup to Payroll, as required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Process vendor invoices for payment
  • Review and research all purchase orders and related documents
  • Coordinate and reconcile TotalE merchandise and Food/Beverage inventory transactions
  • Reconcile and coordinate Accounts Payable ledger details in a timely manner
  • Prepare month-end accruals
  • Review and reconcile vendor statements, reports, logs and other documents
  • Correspond effectively with vendors and employees
  • Maintain and secure accounts payable files and transactions to ensure an efficient audit trail
  • Leads the preparation of annual regulatory 1099-Misc tax filing

Payroll: Provides backup assistance, as needed, in all aspects of the Payroll function ensuring all processes are completed in a timely, accurate and cost-effective manner. Requires knowledge and understanding of payroll polices and ability to communicate effectively with association managers and supervisors.

Customer Service: Communicates values and attitudes that will contribute to a positive culture within the department. Prompt service and demonstration of empathy/sympathy is essential.

Teamwork: Perceives and reacts to the needs of others. Perceives impact of self on others. Relates well with all levels of personnel.

Process Improvement/Quality :Contributes to new ideas and new ways of thinking to improve department efficiencies and services.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School diploma or general education degree (GED), required. (Associates degree (A. A.) in business or accounting preferred); Two years combined experience in accounts payable and payroll required; or equivalent combination of educational and experience. Experience or knowledge pertinent federal, state and local laws, codes and regulations preferred. Current practical experience with computers and computer software; Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and accounting system software (Great Plains & TotalE golfing preferred)

SALARY: $18.61 PLUS (DOE)               EOE                 Open until filled     F-3
