Benevilla in need of C.A.R.E.S. Coordinator Volunteers


Benevilla, the West Valley’s premier human services nonprofit, today announced they are looking for volunteers for their Benevilla C.A.R.E.S. (Community Assistance, Resources, Education & Support) Coordinator positions.

Are you a former social worker, nurse or caregiver? Do you have a passion for others and helping those who cannot help themselves? We invite you to assist us in creating a support system for homebound seniors in your community by becoming a volunteer Benevilla C.A.R.E.S. Coordinator.

A Benevilla C.A.R.E.S. Coordinator Volunteer will provide in-home assessments, prepare a Benevilla C.A.R.E.S. Plan and play a key role in follow up support to enable each member to remain independent in their homes for as long as possible.

Key requirements for C.A.R.E.S. Coordinators include: an ability to establish rapport with Benevilla members and/or caregivers, experience conducting social and health assessments, knowledge of family dynamics and aging issues, and more. Initial and ongoing training opportunities will be provided. Please call today to see if you qualify for this volunteer position.

The Benevilla C.A.R.E.S. program provides education and information to caregivers and their loved ones, free of charge. Benevilla C.A.R.E.S. Specialists can answer a wide variety of questions like, how to find a ride to the doctor or how to find a reputable home care service with access to a database of over 1,000 providers and agencies, including Benevilla member and volunteer services, community businesses, government agencies, and other resources to help you remain independent at home.
