Welcome aboard the OverDrive Digital Bookmobile on Saturday, March 10 in the R. H. Johnson Library’s parking lot between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. There will be multiple tablet and computer workstations to browse the library’s large collection of eBooks and digital audiobooks. The bookmobile also features a Gadget Gallery, so you can have hands-on experience using the OverDrive app on many different popular devices. Feel free to bring you own device for expert one-on-one assistance. It is important to first enter your Rec Card in our Digital Library database and staff will be happy to do this for you prior to or on the day of the bookmobile.

The OverDrive Digital Bookmobile is equipped with broadband Internet-connected PCs, free WiFi connection, touchscreen monitors, and a variety of portable media players, all of which help you to explore the library’s digital collection.

Library patrons can take advantage of the featured services to borrow eBooks and digital audiobooks for free, 24/7 with no late fees on the library’s website or use the OverDrive app to read or listen.  Explore bestselling authors, new releases, classic titles, and much more. Whether listening to a digital audiobook or indulging in an eBook, titles will automatically expire and return to the library’s digital collection at the end of the lending period. Digital reading has never been easier as readers can sync libraries, bookmarks, highlights, and reading positions across mobile devices.
