Stock up with Friends of the Library’s May 6 book sale

Join the Recreation Centers of Sun City West at the next Friends of the R.H. Johnson Library book sale from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 6, in the R.H. Johnson Social Hall, 19803 R.H. Johnson Blvd., Sun City West. With so many like-new items to choose from – including close to 2,000 gently used DVDs – you can stock up on books and movies in one stop!

The Friends are always accepting donations of books, puzzles, DVDs, Blu-rays, cassette tapes (books on cassette, but not music cassettes) and CDs in preparation for these huge sales. Donations may be delivered to the R.H. Johnson Library, 13801 W. Meeker Blvd., Sun City West, during regular business hours of 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.

If you have never attended one of the Friends’ book sales, you will be amazed at the terrific bargains. Because there are no administrative costs, all funds raised at the Friends of the Library book sales go directly into purchasing new materials and services for the library in Sun City West.

At this sale May 6 you will find an amazing variety of gently used novels, nonfiction, biographies, arts and crafts, cooking, coffee table, paperback, American History, large print, and books signed by authors; DVD and Blu-ray movies; music CDs; audiobooks on CD; and puzzles and games.

Tables will be continuously restocked throughout the day so the great finds continue throughout the sale. Come on in and enjoy shopping at bargain prices. For more information, call the library at 623-544-6130.
