Ticket sales for Halloween Dance begin Sept. 3

Grab your favorite witch, warlock, ghost or goblin – and prepare for a ghoulishly good time at the Halloween Dance, presented by the Recreation Centers of Sun City West!

8 tracksThe festive event is set for 7-10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18, at Palm Ridge Recreation Center, 13800 W. Deer Valley Drive, Sun City West. Tickets, priced at $10, go on sale Tuesday, Sept. 3.

The 8-Tracks will perform classic rock ‘n’ roll tunes, offering a musical trip back in time that will have dancers twisting and twirling through the 1950s and 1960s. In true Halloween tradition, dance-goers are encouraged to wear costumes, and prizes will be awarded for Scariest, Most Original and Best Couple costumes. The dance is open to the public, and event doors will open at 6:30 p.m.

Tickets may be obtained at the Rec Centers’ Box Office, 19803 R.H. Johnson Blvd. in Sun City West, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. weekdays. (NOTE: At press time, the Box Office is located inside the R.H. Johnson Lecture Hall as the Administrative Offices undergo renovation. To avoid construction and relocation issues, residents may call 623-544-6093 to pay for their tickets via credit card.)

Throughout the year, the Rec Centers strives to bring quality entertainment to residents by offering free and low-cost events including concerts, dances, movies and holiday shows.
