Virtual Reality moves to Palm Ridge in August

The Recreation Centers of Sun City West’s well-received Virtual Reality program that began at R.H. Johnson Library is moving to Palm Ridge in August while the Library closes for upgrades.

Sun City West members are invited to sign up for the free program, which will be held on Fridays, Aug. 4, 11 and 18, in Palm Ridge’s Acacia Room. Class sizes are small to ensure the best possible experience for participants, so classes fill up quickly. Call 623-544-6120 to sign up. You must have a reservation to attend.

Classes are available from 9 to 10:30 a.m., 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., or 1:30 to 3 p.m. on those Fridays. Staff has compiled a variety of VR programs for all interests and mobility levels, so there are no limitations to participation. You may sit or stand, and earphones are provided so hearing limitations also are not an issue.

All interested members are welcome!
